1969 Triumph TR6
We have great pleasure in offering a truly exceptional Triumph TR6. This beautiful car was found in Arizona and brought back to the UK before being restored to an exceptionally high standard throughout including a correct UK PI straight six 150bhp engine rescued from a rear-ended British write off. The conversion to RHD is the best we’ve seen and is virtually undetectable.
The restoration took the car back to the chassis which was treated and painted to ensure it will remain solid for many years to come. Every part of the car was dismantled and meticulously cleaned and repaired to as new condition or replaced.
The gentleman owner has spared no expense restoring the car nor on her storage. The car is kept in a purpose built temperature and humidity controlled environment and is still in the condition she was immediately post rebuild. Unfortunately for the owner ill health has meant the car has only covered approximately 300 miles since the rebuild and now needs to find a new home.
The TR6 also benefits from some useful upgrades including tasteful MX5 seats, adjustable coils, aluminium fuel tank with uprated fuel pump, electronic ignition for improved reliability, an electric fan and oil cooler to prevent over heating and a long lasting stainless steel exhaust. The car runs and sounds wonderful and pulls well in all gears.
