We now also paint motorbikes! Some of our customers bring in an entire bike and will leave it to us to remove the parts that need painting and then refit them again afterwards. Others bring the separate parts in and refit them themselves at home once we’ve painted them. This saves us time and the customer money of course.

We are able to add stripes, decals and other designs as necessary so just let us know what you need when you book. It doesn’t matter if your bike has plastic or metal parts.

As with classic cars (see our Classic Car Painting page here) the paint type depends on the customers choice but is often determined by what the bike has on it already. The BMW in the image above has a clear coat over base colour and we will use the same system to repaint it. The stripe is done by painting the tank in the stripe colour first, masking with fine line tape where the stripe will be and then painting the base colour over the top before removing the tape and revealing the stripe. The whole lot then gets the clear coat over the top. The decals on the side panels are added onto the base coat and a clear coat is added over the top protecting both the colour and the decals.
