Our Fast Road Triumph Spitfire 1500 project has received a much needed boost as we’ve cleared the way to making progress by selling other projects which were holding it up. We’ve sold several other Spitfires including two MkIV’s, two Mk3’s as well as a 1983 Mini Mayfair. These projects were bought before our business started to concentrate on classic car and bike painting and would never have been completed. They’ve now gone to new owners who will spend the necessary time on them to get them back on the road.

So the 1979 Spitfire, the car I’ve owned since 1994 and took to Holland as well as multiple trips around the UK, will finally receive a little attention. It still has to be satisfied with the rare moments between customer paint projects or perhaps some evenings and weekends. It will certainly be easier to work on it during these hours because the rewards at the end of the project are so enticing!!

Keep up to date on progress on a new page of the website dedicated to the project: Fast Road Triumph Spitfire
