We have an inflatable paint booth on test. It’s a big one but we wanted one big enough to get a Land Rover in and have at least a meter or two all around the car.
We’ve now used the booth to paint the filler-primer, primer and base colour coats of our 1974 Triumph Spitfire which needed a complete respray. We’ll be doing the clear coat in the inflatable booth too.
So how did it do??

This booth has now been sold! Even though it worked really rather well, it was just a little too big for the area we had available for it. Instead, I’ve bought a smaller 6m x 3m x 2.5m inflatable booth which should just be big enough for our Spitfire projects. I can’t wait to try it!
